Direct sunlight was found to bo lollial Lo the larvae within two days. The favourable temperature to its life cycle is betweer 20 C-27 C. Many chemicals were used Cor their larvicidal action, potassium chloride, sodium nitrate, ammonium sulphate, sodium hydro¬xide and hydrochloric acid in various concentrations of 5% 2.5% , 1%, 0.5% and 0.25%.
