Abstract
Regioselective synthesis of sometriazole derivatives 4–18 was achieved fromthe versatile, readily accessible
4-phenyl-5-(quinolin-8-yloxy)methyl-4H-1,2,4-triazole-3-thiol/thione 3. The structures of the newly synthesized
products were confirmed and characterized by IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, and mass spectral studies. Most
of the synthesized compounds were evaluated for their antitumor and antioxidant activities and demonstrated
potent to weak activities.
