Abstract
The level of Il1, Il6 and TNF alpha were estimated in serum and synovial fluid of Rheumatoid arthritis Group 1)and non Rheumatoid arthritis patients (Group2) and from serum only of apparently healthy people (control ). The results show there are differences in the serum level of the three parameters in The three groups with significant increase in the frist group than the other groups. Also in group 1 there are varation in the concentarion of the different parameters in the synovial fluid according to the severity of the disease comparing to its serum level . conclusion : estimation of of IL1, IL6 and TNF alpha in Synovial fluid more better than serum as a prognostic value in rheumatoid ariritis but if it is not available serum sample could be used for diagnosis of disease activity.
