Abstract
In this paper a model is presented from which the transient behaviour of a group of three-phase induction motors with terminal capacitors can be obtained when started simultaneously, from a nonideal supply whose internal inductance is not neglected. The effect of the terminal capacitors on the peak values of the transient supply current and terminal voltage is investigated
