Abstract
In this paper a closed-form solution which gives expressions for the load current , as a function of time , for the different modes of operation of 3-phase thyristor regulators feeding inductive loads is presented . This closed-form solution depends mainly on Laplace transform . Two modes of operation , in this case , are investigated. The first mode of operation ( Ф < α < β + π/3 ) and the second mode of operation ( β + π/3 < α < 5π/3 ).
