Abstract
In this paper closed-form analytical expressions for the waveforms of the current and voltage of the load , for a 3-phase fully-controlled rectifier bridge fed from a non-ideal supply , and feeding static inductive loads , are derived. From these analytical expressions the load side steady state characteristics can be obtained directly .
To confirm the validity of these expressions , experimental results for a static inductive load fed from the bridge are obtained . Close agreement between theoretical and experimental results is noticed.
