Abstract

The present study aimed at investigating the relationship between multiple intelligences and general problem solving skills and general self-efficacy with its different levels (high- moderate- low), the sample of the present study consisted of( 200) 1st year secondary school students (males and females), the researcher administered the following tools : the multiple intelligences scale, the self-efficacy scale, the general problem solving skills scale (all prepared by the researcher), the study results revealed statistically significant differences between the scores means of the students on the MI scale (with its different subscales) among the three groups with different levels of self efficacy (high- moderate- low), except the bodily-kinesthetic and the musical intelligences, the differences weren’t statistically significant in the student groups with low/moderate self-efficacy levels. The results also showed statistically significant differences in the general problem solving skills subscales, between the scores means of the students with different levels of self efficacy (high- moderate- low), in favor of the students with high self-efficacy.
