EFFECT OF PACLOBUTRAZOL AND CYCOCEL SPRAYS ON "LE CONTE" PEAR TREES 2-EFFECT ON FRUITING AND FRUIT QUALITY BY Atawia, A. A. R. and Helail, B. M. Dept. of Hort., Fac. of Agric. Moshtohor, Zagazig Univ. ABSTRACT "Le Conte" pear trees were sprayed with (1000 & 2000 ppm) Paclobutrazol (PP333) and Cycocel (CCC) in mid-June (1989 & 1990) or at full bloom (1990 & 1991). Paclobutrazol and Cycocel treatments (particularly, 2000 ppm PP333) in both dates, enhanced tree fruiting and improved fruit quality of 1990 & 1991 seasons. Full bloom sprays surpassed mid-June sprays in this respect.
