ABSTRACT
"Le Conte" pear trees were sprayed with (1000 & 2000 ppm) Paclobutrazol (PP333) and Cycocel (CCC) in mid-June (1989 & 1990) or at full bloom (1990 & 1991). Paclobutrazol and Cycocel treatments (particularly, 2000 ppm PP333) in both dates, enhanced tree fruiting and improved fruit quality of 1990 & 1991 seasons. Full bloom sprays surpassed mid-June sprays in this respect.
