Abstract
An analytical method to solve the non-linear differential equations, describing the performance of an induction motor following supply disconnection, is described. Current, speed and stator voltage of a three-phase induction motor, following supply disconnection are obtained by the proposed method. Experimental and analytical results of the stator voltages are in close agreement. The proposed method reduces the computational requirements when the performance of induction motors following supply disconnection is investigated.
