Abstract
The folk music in the eastern part of the Arab Nation and its western part is distinctive in the traits and common features, except for some differences which give the music of each country a colour that distinguishes it from other countries.
Even though Egypt and Arabian Western speak Arabic, there are many distinctions in musical concepts and terms between them which implied the researcher to undertake this study to expose these concepts and terms.
