Abstract
This paper presents a formula to obtain the change in voltage at cables or transmission lines terminals at steady state due to switching operations of circuit breakers in power systems.
A chart of voltage change between no-load and loading conditions at the bus- bar is given . This chart can be used in the calculations of power system performance .
