Job satisfaction is a workers' sense of achievement and success on the job. The aim of this study was to evaluate job satisfaction for Maternal and Child Health Centers nurses in Kalyobia Governorate. Research design: A descriptive research design was utilized in this study. Setting: The study was conducted in eight Maternal and Child Health Centers in Kalyobia Governorate from total twenty nine centers. The sample: All nurses worked in the previous centers were involved in the study 151 nurse. Tools: A structured interviewing questionnaire to assess socio-demographic characteristics of studied sample, knowledge and attitude regarding job satisfaction, and observational checklist to assess practices of nurses, and Maternal and Child Health Centers environment. Results: All of studied sample were female, 39.7% aged from 30>40years. 84.1% had nursing diploma, and 93.3% worked as a nurse. 79.5% of nurses had average knowledge, 43% of nurses had positive attitude, and, 65.6% of them had satisfactory practice. Conclusion: Less than one fifth of studied nurses had good knowledge regarding job satisfaction, approximately two fifth of them had positive attitude regarding job satisfaction, while almost two thirds of them had satisfactory practice, There were statistically significant relations between total nurse's attitude and socio demographic characteristics regarding social status, qualification, and training courses. Recommendations: Maternal and Child Health Centers administrators should conduct meeting periodically with staff nurses in each clinic to discuss and solve their problems.
