Abstract
Purpose:-

To evaluate the clinical outcomes of the new intracorneal ring (Intacs SK) in treatment of moderate and severe cases of keratoconus

Subjects and Methods:
13 eyes of 12 patients with moderate and severe keratoconus were treated with Intacs SK, the uncorrected distant visual acuity (UDVA) and corrected distant visual acuity (CDVA), manifest sphere and cylinder, spherical equivalent and keratometry (K) readings were measured preoperatively and at 1, 6 and 12months postoperatively.

Results:
There was significant improvement of UDVA, CDVA, manifest sphere and cylinder, spherical equivalent and K readings (P< 0.05). The mean UCDV improved from 0.08 ± 0.03 to 0.19 ± 0.07 at 1 year (P=0.009), the mean CDVA improved from 0.28 ± 0.13 to 0.52 ± 0.13 at 1 year (P
