Abstract
Summary - In this paper three estimators for the reliability function P(Y < X) (MLE,
UMVUE and Bayes estimator) are given when Xand Y are two independent but not
identically distributed Burr of type III random variables. Also two sided confidence
interval for R is obtained. Simulation studies are used to assess the accuracy of the
estimation.
