Abstract
The effects of magnetic field and thermal
radiation on a micropolar fluid flow near a stagnation point towards a moving surface are investigated. Numerical solutions for the transformed non-linear ordinary differential equations are obtained using the fourth order Rung-Kutta integration scheme coupled with the shooting method. The effects of the magnetic parameter, the material parameter, the radiation
parameter and the Prandtl number on the velocity, angular
velocity and temperature profiles are displayed
graphically and investigated. Also the numerical values
of the local skin-friction coefficient and the Nusselt
number for various values of the physical parameters
are entered in tabular form and discussed.
