Abstract
Antibodies against soluble purified trypanosomal antigen, and those against trypanosomal homogenates were detected in high levels after two weeks from the start of infection by I.H.A.T. and I.F.A.T respectively, and disappeared by the end of infection. On the other hand, antibodies against surface membrane were found to be high till six weeks postinfectionby I.F.A.T
