Abstract

A total 130 cases of both sexes,4-14 years old were selected 30 were control and 100 were suffering from different parasitic infections including ancylostomiasis ,bilharziasis,ascariasis and giardiasis.Anemia appears in these four groups with low Hb% values , but it was more greatly decreased in ancylostomiasis .Also the serum iron level was significantly decreased in the four groups particularly in cases accompanied with Schistosoma infection
