Abstract

PARASITIC INFECTIONS! AND ITS EFFKCT ON SCHOLAR ACHEVEMENT By AMAL M.S. EL-RIDI", MOHAMED A. BEBARS**, HASSAN A. HAMADTO, SAMIA M. RASHED and FATMA A. SHOUMAN Departments of Parasitoloyy, Faculties of Medicine, Zagazig*, Ain-Shams** and Banha Universities, Egypt ABSTRACT *~ Two groups of children, (each consisted of 100 primary school pupils), one from an urban area and the other from a rural area were studied. They were chosen randomly. For each pupil, clinical examination was done. In addition, stool, urine and blood samples were examined. Scholar achievement was estimated through finding out the days of absence and the results of 3 monthly certificates.
