ABSTRACT
Five hundreds and forty male workers out of 4314 were randomly selected from "Yassin Glass Factories" to study health problems and parasitic infestations of the industrial workers. It was proved that history of bilharziasis was
common among the group studied (59.0? 55). While investigations "t*
revealed that amoebiasis ar.d giardiasis were the main para¬sitic diseases among the studied workers, it accounted for 15.93, 2.78 % respectively. The main health problems were the development of heat cramps, dental illness, errors of refraction, anaemia, hearing defects and nodular opacities in the chest X-ray.
