Abstract
Background: Fracture of the acetabulum was a great challenge to surgeons and was treated non operatively till the middle of the the 20th century (5) . Approximately 35% of all acetabular fractures have involved of the posterior wall which is the most common pattern , with approximately 76% of these injuries having additional complex fractures (2). Various classifications of acetabular fractures have been propounded, but the easiest classification is that of Judet and Letournel.Outcome and prognosis affected by several factors like the injury pattern, Force of energy, Location, Degree of articular comminution and degree of initial displacement.
