Abstract

Video transmission over error prone networks, such as the Internet and wireless networks, requires some methods of received video enhancement to achieve good quality. In this paper, we present a received-video enhancement component to be augmented on the receiver (decoder) side to minimize errors and noise that exist in the received video. This component is characterized by using light algorithms for enhancement in order to use less power which makes it suitable for battery-operated devices such as laptops and mobiles.
