Abstract
The main objective of this work was to evaluate the effect of immunostimulant CpG-ODN on Single strand repair mechanism Nucleotides Excision Repair (NER) in immune cells. Result showed that CpG-ODN treated group significantly increase expression of Ercc2, Pnkp, Rpa3, Slk and Xab2 ; induce slight change in Rad23b ; and significantly decrease expression of Brip1, Cdk7, Ddb2, Ercc5, Ercc6 and Xpc.So the result indicated that CpG-ODN modulate expression of DNA repair genes implicated in NER in immune cells . Also it increase some gene of NER have evolved in biological process in immune cells suggesting that CpG-ODN treatment as immunostimulant may be have a role in these process.
