Abstract
Essential hypertension, peptic ulcer, bronchial Asthma, rheumatoid arthritis, chronic pain and irritable bowel, syndrome evaluated in a pathological sample of out patients of mental hospital were examined (4230)psychotic and neurotic patients, findings show that psychosomatic diseases were in a high rate in neurotics than psychotic patients. Chronic pain and high blood pressure were the highest rate between the psychiatric group. A correlation was found between schizoid personality and psychosomatic patients.
