Abstract
The study reveals the effect of the teacher's gender on the pre-school children's achievement for a sample of (157) pupils (78 males, 79 females) in the second grade in a pre-school in Cairo from (5.1 – 5.11 years), the children for the male teacher are (80), and (77) for the female teacher.
The study prepared an achievement scale containing seven scales for Arabic language, 2 for math in Arabic, 7 for English, and 2 for math in English, with coloured drawings.
The study results revealed that the teacher's gender affects the pre-school children's achievement.
