Abstract
The physical and mechanical properties of aluminum alloy AA6063 based matrix reinforced with different weight fractions of Nickle particulates of 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 wt. were investigated. The composite specimens were fabricated by stirring method followed by squeeze casting technique using different fabrication pressures of 50, 100, 150, 200 and 250 MPa for each specimen, microstructure, density, hardness and tensile strength tests were carried out. The results showed at low fabrication pressures Nickel appears to be distributed in matrix in shape of continuous patterns of linear and parallel trends.
