Abstract
estudiedtheprevalenceofantiphospholipidantibodiesinchronicrenalfailure
andtheirpossibleroleinthepathogenesisofvascularthrombosis.Alsotheaetiopathologyofrenalfailureandtheirrelationtotheseantibodieshavebeenstudied.
Asignificantprevalenceoftheseantibodiesis seenindialysedpatientsthanthose
onconservativetreatment.Theelevatedleveloftheseantibodieshadasignificanteffectonvascularthrombosisinbothgroupsoruremicpatients.Patientswithinesan~
gioproliferativeglomerulonephritisandthosewithlupusnephritiswerefoundtohave
andtheirpossibleroleinthepathogenesisofvascularthrombosis.Alsotheaetiopathologyofrenalfailureandtheirrelationtotheseantibodieshavebeenstudied.
