Abstract
In this paper, we introduce quantitative parametric study on the design of reinforced concrete beams. This study deals with two practical problems for designing reinforced concrete beams with minimum cost. The notions of the solvability set, the stability set of the first kind and the stability set of second kind for each practical problem are defined and analyzed quantitatively Also, illustrative examples are given.
