The corrosion behavior of carbon steel in 1.0 M HCl solution in the absence and presence of some nonionic surfactant derived from hydroquinol compounds was investigated using galvanostatic polarization, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and potentiodynamic anodic polarization techniques.
