Abstract
الملخص يقدم هذا البحث توزيع احتمالي مستمر جديد يسمي generalized transmuted Pareto distribution ويدرس مجموعه من خصائصه المختلفة. تم تقدير معالم التوزيع باستخدام طريقة الإمكان الأعظم. يهتم هذا البحث أيضا بدراسة أهمية ومرونة التوزيع الجديد في نمذجة البيانات الفعلية وذلك باستخدام عينتين من البيانات. Abstract A new lifetime model called the generalized transmuted Pareto distribution is proposed and studied. Various of its structural properties including ordinary and incomplete moments, probability weighted moments and order statistics are derived. The new model is characterized in terms of atruncated moment of a function of the random variable. We proposed the method of maximum likelihood for estimating the model parameters. The new distribution is applied to two real data sets to illustrate its usefulness and flexibility.
