Abstract

The effect of radiation on heat transfer over a continuous moving surface has been studied. The nonlinear boundary layer equations, governing the problem under consideration, are solved numerically by applying an efficient numerical technique based on the shooting method. The steady-state velocity and temperature profiles are obtained and reported graphically for various parametric conditionsto show interesting aspects of the problem. Keywords: moving surfaces; radiation; heat transfer; boundary layer.
