Abstract
The genotoxic activity of 10 fungicides were tested
using the DNA polymerase deficient assay. Two forms of the
assay were carried out: 1) a disc diffusion procedure that
measures the preferential growth inhibiting properties of
the test chemical and 2) a liquid suspension that determines
the p r e f er e nt i al: ki IIing of the DNA polymerase deficient
strain. The second form provide to be more sensitive.
