Abstract
The aim of the study was to evaluate the effect of simulation on selfefficacy of maternity nurses in management of pre-eclampsia and eclampsia. DESIGN: A quasi
experimental design was utilized. SETTING: The study was conducted at Obstetrics and
Gynecology Emergency Department of Benha University Hospital. SAMPLING: A convenient
sample included 40 nurses. TOOLS: Three tools are used for data collection: A structured selfadministered questionnaire, Observational checklists and Self-efficacy scale. RESULTS: There
was a highly significant difference between pre-intervention and immediate post-intervention and 8
