Article [20] Effects of Radiation and Hall Current on MHD free Convective Heat Generating Flow past a Semi-infinite Vertical Flat Plate with and Aligned Magnetic Field
Abstract: Free convection flow of conducting fluid near an isothermal semi-infinite vertical plate with uniform free stream of constant velocity, and temperature is investigated. The plate is at rest in the presence of a uniform strong transverse magnetic field and the Hall effects are taken into account. The effects of internal heat generation or absorption, and radiation are also considered. The effects of the induced magnetic field has been included in the analysis. The boundary layer equations governing the problem under consideration have been transformed into a system of ordinary differential equations, which are solved numerically. Numerical data for the skin friction and the Nusselt number have been tabulated for various parametric conditions.
