Abstract
ABSTRACT: Traversing is a plane surveying operation traditionally used to map the earth. The rapid development in instrumentation and computer dependency has led to the need to develop engineering AU1 surveying software (SW). Plane surveying students suffer from the lack of illustration when studying traversing. They cannot fly to view the traverse, so the integration between observations, computations, and visualization made the development of an educational software simulator an optimized solution. This research work looks at the effects of developing and implementing simulator software into an educational environment. Additionally, an effort has been made to review the main components of the developed SW.
