Abstract
Selected cases of retinal detachment with high risk of devolopping PVR like cases with giant retinal break were included in the study and devided into two groups . Group A with adjunctive medications during pars plana vitrectomy and group B without the adjunctive medications.There was higher rate of retinal reattachment and lower rate of PVR in group A.
