Abstract
In this paper a method for modelling and simulation of a system composed of a fully-controlled rectifier bridge, a voltage-source inverter and an induction motor is presented. The software package MATLAB/ SIMULINK to model and simulate each component of the system is used. The simulation presented is used to perform a comprehensive investigation of the transient behavior of the system.
