Abstract
In this paper, a method is presented by which the transient performance of an induction motor fed from a voltage source inverter (VSI) can be evaluated. The method presented reduces the computation time required to obtain the transient performance of the motor. Comparison of results obtained by this method with results obtained from other methods showed very close agreement.
