Abstract
This study is highlighting the importance of teaching the new technology applications in architecture supported by applied examples. The important role of simulation tools in building science applications that is to emphasis the high profile of ICT and CAAD in practice. And to evaluate the misunderstanding among the majority of users that consider the computer is a simple digital drafting table. Therefore, it was important to measure the awareness of digital technology among architecture students in Egypt that has been done through a pilot survey from 70 undergraduate architecture students. The results of the survey revealed some awareness of technology in architecture, even though, that was not properly directed to the wide range of using that digital technology in architecture. Finally, the research suggested a strategy model describes the steps towards innovative architecture education that adopt the constructive digital technology.
