Abstract
The research includes a discussion about Security design for printed apparel products to advance contemporary design and enhance product protection through the development of designs for Egyptian securing units that are limited to use from ancient Egyptian art, Islamic art and Coptic art, to combine the art of pixel art and Sinai embroidery to reduce counterfeit products while preserving identity. Product security is one of the main concerns in the apparel industry, with many fashion brands suffering a huge loss due to counterfeit products. During the last period, counterfeit products have spread greatly in Egypt, and have become widely circulated, especially in the clothing sectors, as this process causes direct damage to brands in terms of reaping the fruits of the revenues due, and it incurs financial losses estimated at about 10% of the total world trade movement annually.
