Abstract

The research sample and method: The researcher used the experimental method by using only one experiment group, the total sample (70) elderly at El rowaad Sports Center in Benha , and divided into (40) elderly of the experimental group and (30) elderly of the exploratory group, researcher used two tools for the study: questionnaire of health awareness for the elderly and test to assess the skill level of swimming crawl. Conclusions: -There are statistical obvious dissimilarity between pre and post measure to simple in side of post measure in learning of swimming crawl for the elderly and health awareness -The water recreational program affect positively some of the skills of swimming crawl for the elderly and health awareness Recommendations: -Proposing a number of programs and recreational activities for the elderly. -To develop the elderly capacities in the health awareness as the study tells us , they need for further activities which help convergence among theme and the development of their capabilities and skills for social interaction and participation, cooperation. -The need to focus on the quality of games to suit the elderly.
