Abstract
Chronic Renal Failure (CRF) is a public health problem that tends to take dimensions of epidemic and has serious impact on self-esteem, body image and quality of children's life. Hemodialysis is the most common treatment modality for end-stage renal disease. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of a nursing intervention program on self-esteem, body image and quality of life of Children undergoing Hemodialysis. A quasi-experimental design was used to conduct the study at the Children Renal Dialysis Unit at Benha University Hospital which affiliated to the University of Qalubia Governorate. Subjects: A convenience sample of 30 children undergoing Hemodialysis was included in the study.
