Abstract
Forty eight sorghum mutant lines were obitned from the third radiation generation (‘Mj) after gaqima irradia ijon
treatment and ethvlamjne on Sorhiim bicolor cultivar Giza-I.
These mutant hues were evaluated as well as the parenial cultivar
Gira-1 (Yin M4,) generate (1990) to choose the best muيaui! lines
for dry forage and grain yield. The results obtained rev’aled that
considerable variation existed among genoi’rpes for all the
studied ،rails. The mutan: lines No. 2, 15, 17, 21, 26, 28, 32 and
43 considered the bes: mutant for the fodder and grain yield.
