Abstract
Backgroumd: our results showed the beneficial effects of Melatonin as an antioxidant and as an oxygen radical scavenger in the prevention of CS-A nephrotoxccity in rates.It can be suggested that the combination of Cyclosporine-A and Melatonin could be useful for reducing the nephrotoxic effects of CS-A. Further clinical studies are necessary to extend our results in human therapy.
