Abstract
Processing of the climatic data of the last period and monitoring of water levels and water quality of groundwater in Wadi Feiran basin were done. Large decreases in rainfall rates and over-exploitation process from wells led to more decreasing in water levels, some of wells are dried up and most of the farms were damaged. Groundwater quality was also changed due to large increases in salinity contents and chemical elements.
Surface water harvesting and Groundwater management program should be established, advanced sanitary drainage network in the heavy populated areas and controlling urbanization and tourism activities are also necessary.
