Inactivated egg adapted Avian influenza (H5N2) vaccines were prepared using four different adjuvant system, paraffin oil adjuvant , montanide ISA 50 oil adjuvant, montanide ISA70 oil adjuvant, and aluminum hydroxide gel. The prepared vaccines were sterile and safe. Comparative evaluation of four experimentally prepared vaccines indicated that the oily prepared vaccines greatly stimulated the cellular immune response as estimated by lymphocyte proliferation test and phagocytic activity compared with aluminum hydroxide gel vaccine. Humoral immune response as measured by haemagglutination inhibition (HI) test revealed extremely high titers of (11.0) log2 and (10.0) log2 were obtained using montanide ISA 70 and montanide ISA 50v in order and a high titers of (8.3) log2, and (7.0) log2 were obtained using aluminum hydroxide gel and paraffin oil respectively. Among the used adjuvants, montanide ISA 70 and montanide ISA 50v were preferable as they could be used for manual preparation of the vaccines furthermore the superior immunological response persist along the entire period of the experiment
