Abstract
Increasing the productivity in abrasive waterjet machining (AWJM) is one of the major
interests of most recent research work. This paper presents the results of an extensive
program of experimentation carried out recently at the Department of Machine Technology in
this field. The program concentrated on the effect of the working conditions on the
productivity. The main objective is to optimize the process in order to get the maximum
productivity within the specified accuracy.
