A new small size dual band microstrip antenna structure is proposed. the antenna consist of two resonant elements designed separtely and integrated in such a manner to improve the compactness of dual band structure and maintain the performance of each elements.The stucture is analyzed using the lunmped element approach and designed curves are produced.the proposed approrach is validated through a design example using theoretical curves and simulatios. implementation of antenna operating in the band 900 MHz and 1800 MHz band is presented. A comparison between the theoretical, simulated amd meaured results were given. good agreement was found for all.
