This study was conducted to throw light on the protective effect of human breast milk against parasites as G.lamblia and E.histolytica. 50 stool samples of exclusively breast-fed infants were analyzed, 5 cases (10%) were infected with G. lamblia and 3 cases (6%) were infected with E..histolytica. On the other hand by analysis of 50 stool samples of artificially-fed infants, 11 (22%) were infected with G. lamblia 14(28%) showed infection with E.histolytica. Concentration of IgA in human colostrum was (4.4 mgm/ml), while in mature milk samples was (2.1 mgm/ml). Human milk leucocytes were nearly equal in both colostrum and mature milk samples
