Clinical examination of microfilaraemic cases .Showed lymph node enlargement (inguinal, edema ol lower limb, skin itchinq. in six out of 36 cases (16.66%). HLA typing using lymphocytotoxicity test for microfilaraemic cases, nonfilarial subjects from endemic areas and control revealed that children with HLA-B7 showed high susceptibility for retaininq the microfilaria in their blood and to develop clinical manifestations
